Theology
We believe in one true, eternal, Triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—whose unique attributes distinguish Him, whose providence sustains life, and who created the universe from nothing to display His glory (Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19). God universally reveals Himself through the natural world and human nature, having created humanity with relational and cognitive capacities as male and female designed to complement each other 3 as equals (Genesis 1:27). However, sin—defined as any deviation from God's perfect will—entered the world through Adam and Eve's historical disobedience, resulting in a fallen nature and total depravity for all mankind that renders general revelation insufficient for salvation (Romans 5:12). Consequently, God provided necessary special revelation supremely through the Holy Bible, His inspired, inerrant, and preserved Word; while angels and demons exist and individual visions are rare, no modern group receives new binding revelation (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We believe salvation is entirely by God's grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man, and the sole mediator between God and humanity (Ephesians 2:8-9). His substitutionary death on the cross and bodily resurrection provide complete atonement for our sins, graciously adopting believers into His family as co-heirs for eternity (Romans 10:9-10; John 1:12). The Holy Spirit co-exists with the Father and Son, indwelling and empowering every believer for Christian living and effective witness (Acts 1:8). This community forms the Church—the body of Christ comprising all who trust in Him, united for the purpose of worship, evangelism, and discipleship (Ephesians 4:11-16). Ultimately, we anticipate the personal and bodily return of Jesus Christ, leading to the resurrection of the dead and a final judgment that will usher believers into eternal life with God and unbelievers into eternal conscious punishment (Revelation 20:11-15).
