Leadership

Glenn is a former business owner who has devoted the last 20+ years to ministry. He has a degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is presently working on his doctorate at the same institution. He has served as a lay person and as an interim pastor in several congregations. He has also has a heart to serve those sent overseas to share the gospel and is a trustee for the International Mission Board. He and his wife, Patti, have counseled with couples and have led marriage retreats both in the US and overseas. They have 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren and love spending time with their family. 

Tyler has been serving in youth ministry for 10 years before joining our family at Immanuel Baptist Church in May 2026. He has a heart for helping young people know Jesus, grow in God’s Word, and become committed followers of Christ. As a youth minister, his desire is not simply to see students attend church, but to see them grow in a relationship with Jesus that impacts every part of their lives. Tyler and his wife, Lisa, are the proud parents to Faith, Ethan and Travis.

Music has always been an active part of Wanda’s life. She has served as Worship Leader in a couple of churches, most recently here at IBC where she retired in 2023. Wanda has a passion for music and true worship, and strives to make every musical offering uplifting and worshipful.

Wanda and her husband, Murl, enjoy traveling and spending time with their children and grandchildren. 

Patti is a former music teacher turned biblical counselor. She has served as a worship leader in several congregations and loves to help others engage in worshipping Jesus. She has a bachelor's degree in music and a master's and doctorate in counseling from SEBTS. She often joins Glenn in his role as a trustee and loves to serve missionaries. They both enjoy travel and spending time with their 3 daughters and 7 grandchildren. 

Tina has faithfully served as Immanuel's Administrative Assistant since 1999, bringing her professional skills, warm personality, and dedication to our church family each day. She is married to Scott, and together they have one daughter, Caitlin, and her husband, Jesse. She is also the loving and very proud "Lollie" to Ryland and Brinxtley, who bring her tremendous joy.

Melissa accepted Jesus as her Savior and was baptized at the age of eight. She began taking piano lessons at six years old and has been using her musical gifts in church since the age of twelve. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the Lord through music as pianist at Immanuel Baptist Church.

She is the proud mother of three children, Haley, Patrick, and Noah, and grandmother to Leighton and Will. Outside of church, she serves the community by managing mental health cases for the Lancaster County Probate Court.

Born and raised right here at Immanuel, Olivia has been a beloved part of our church family for over 20 years! Having grown up through our Children’s and Youth ministries, she has a deep, lifelong passion for ministering to the next generation. After serving faithfully as a volunteer for several years, she is now stepping into the role of Children’s Ministry Director. With her heart for the Lord, her heart for kids, her experience working locally at an elementary school, and the genuine love our kids have for her, we are thrilled to have Olivia leading our children into a deeper faith!
